Why it sucks to away from home

Tue Aug 4, 2009, 9:45 AM
First of all I love traveling but I have a desktop at home that makes it impossible to bring it here.So when I go north to visit my relatives I'm left having to borrow someone's computer. So when I'm working on this laptop and I want to pull up that unfinished painting that I did years ago,I can't.That the stuff that makes your computer yours, the things you put on it.All those images, docs, folders, music, and programs on your computer makes it unique;kinda like your room it shows to whoever is looking what kind of person you are.

On another note I don't have to share the laptop since I'm already hogging it and I've made it clear that needed a computer if I was ever going on vacation for more than a month. And then What makes people choose laptops over desktops is the mobility it has to offer in an age where it's important to be connected. But for the few who chose desktop the cost and the ability to add new hardware are the reasons we buy it(for me my 7 year old computer's monitor broke and it was cheaper to just buy another computer than replace the monitor).
